Pink & Blue Slip Inspections
Registration inspections should be quick and honest. We carry out pink slips (eSafety checks) for renewing rego and blue slips for unregistered, interstate or heavily modified vehicles, plus pre-purchase inspections so you know exactly what you are buying. If something fails, we explain it plainly and can usually fix it on the spot.

Pink & Blue Slips, answered
What is the difference between a pink slip and a blue slip?
A pink slip is an eSafety check needed to renew registration on a car more than five years old. A blue slip is a fuller inspection for a vehicle that is unregistered, coming from interstate, has been off the road for more than three months, or has been modified.
Do I need a pink slip for my car?
If your car is over five years old you need a pink slip each year before you renew the rego. Rideshare vehicles such as Uber have their own inspection requirements, which we can also handle.
What happens if my car fails the inspection?
We show you exactly what did not pass and why. Because we are a full workshop, most items can be repaired here and re-checked, so you leave with a passed inspection rather than a list of jobs to chase elsewhere.
